Kind-hearted man wins the first St John Charity Lottery

Congratulations to the lucky winner of the first St John Charity Lottery Draw!

After missing the initial phone call, the winner called back and was surprised to find out he won a brand new $85,021 Mercedes-Benz 4Matic GLA SUV. He couldn’t believe the news and had tears in his eyes upon confirming the win with the Lottery team. He was grateful to win the major prize, having purchased just one ticket entry for $10.

The winner said he believes it’s important to support charity lotteries. Having been in one of the strictest state lockdowns in Australia, he is thankful for all of the hard work that St John Ambulance Victoria does and continued to accomplish during Victoria’s numerous lockdowns. He went on to say that although he doesn’t have a lot to give, he likes to give when he can.

Your contribution helps provide services to the local Victorian Community with vital lifesaving services through St John Ambulance Victoria. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have of winning and the more support you give to the charity. 3 tickets for $30 provides a volunteer with a fully stock first aid kit, or 10 tickets for $100 contributes towards training a volunteer in advanced resuscitation to save a life.
